phylsfrills: In the Kitchen, busy, busy, busy

Yesterday I was going to take it easy, and maybe do some crafting. Well, the day went sideways and this is what I ended up doing. It started with breakfast this morning. I made everything omelettes with green peppers, onions, mushrooms, garlic sausage and cheese. I made hash browns to go with them, as well as some crispy bacon, and topped the omelettes with my home made salsa. Since I needed to make more bread, I got the dough going in the bread machine, and ended up with two loaves of 100% whole wheat bread. Then I decided to make bagels, not one kind but two. First I made cheese bagels, then cinnamon raisin ones. There are lots of pictures in this post, so dial up users beware!

I've never even considered making my own bagels. Those look great.

Thanks for the post! It's been quiet in here.
